Learn how to use different, printing and stamping techniques. We will experiment with a wide a range of wet and dry materials. We will explore mono printing, a one-off printmaking technique.
We will make a collagraph, which is a print block made by gluing different materials to cardboard and creating a kind of collage out of scrape materials.
We will make stamps for different materials to stamp onto paper.
This is a great opportunity to work with your young person and collaborate whilst making great art.
The starting point could be the beautiful Beth Chatto Garden or from a picture of a favourite place. The work can be abstract or more representational depending on where your experiments take you.
This course is aimed at children and their accompanying adult to experience the exciting world of printing and stamping in this inspirational setting!
Suitable for children aged 7 and above, both beginners and those with some previous experience. Book two places, one for yourself and one for your child. £20 each
All materials supplied but please bring an apron to keep your clothes clean and if have an image you may wish to work from bring that too.
Scrap materials with a texture are also useful e.g. tin foil, clingfilm, string, scrap cardboard, textured wallpapers and anything with a texture.
