Jekka's 100 Herbs to Grow details how to grow herbs in the garden, in containers and from seed. This comprehensive book guides you through propagation, division, cuttings, harvesting and yearly maintenance. Jekka grows herbs using sustainable methods with the environment in mind which not only results in fantastically healthy herbs, but greatly improves biodiversity at her herb farm in South Gloucestershire.
In the forty years Jekka has been growing herbs, she has witnessed the change in climate, pests and disease and how they affect herbs. In her latest book she shares her knowledge of how to grow herbs in a changing climate resulting in this up-to-date and invaluable handbook.
Jekka also offers historical knowledge and anecdotes as well as culinary and medicinal uses so you can make the most of your successfully grown herbs. This includes how to use your herbs at home both in the kitchen and how to make your own herb first aid kit.
