Learn how Beth would plant layers of bulbs and corms to create drifts through creepers and crawlers and which bulbs to plant individually or in groups. You will be provided with a bulb calendar to help you select bulbs for wave after wave of colour. Lucy will suggest bulbs for varying soils/conditions and provide information on when to plant your bulbs and their planting depth.
Slides will introduce you to new bulbs, corms and rhizomes and a tour of the Beth Chatto Gardens, highlighting our bulbs in season or due to flower an their growing requirements. we hope this will deepen your knowledge and entice you to get planting more gorgeous bulbs to pop up and delight you all year round.
